Annnnnd back to comics! I'm sorry to say Twisted Tropes is going on hiatus while Tv Tropes (www.tvtropes.org ) makes some necessary updates to their comics section. It's been an absolute blast (I love them all, I go through them and chuckle and pat myself on the back sometimes. I know, I'm an egocentric monster.) and hopefully we'll get back to it soon. However, I'm EXTREMELY happy to say I'm going to be doing a new comic for the awesome folks at GameRaven (www.gameraven.com )Β called, appropriately enough, "Video Games Are Fun!". I've always wanted to do a video game based comic and I can't tell you how excited I am to be finally drawing one. We're still working on building a page for them, but this first one is sorta timely, so here's a sneak peak. These'll be coming out twice a month and will all deal with video games in one way or another, even if the connection is a bit... tenuous. Check it out, hope ya dig it!Related content

I probably should've said for Magikarp, "do not play Pokemon Go while boating." Though to be honest, I was thinking like a private boat or a ferry when 'boating' comes to mind. Not so much on a rowboat because I barely see those, and I've only done rafting one-time in a vacation trip to Nevada. It's probably just me being born and raised in San Francisco, where I'm more used to ferries in our piers.

I'm just waiting for the astronaut who will doom a spaceship trying to catch Deoxys.
Or for some person to get killed in a church because they were catching Giratina or Lord Helix.
On a slightly more serious note, I'm looking forward to the upcoming comics. I wanted to see someone do something like this sooner or later. Actually kind of reminds me of Awkward Zombie, which isn't a bad thing.

Basically Nintendo took google maps and tossed pokemon into it. You walk around with your cellphone, and you can see any nearby pokemon on the map. When you find one, it lays a polygonal pokemon over wherever you happen to be looking on your phone, so it looks like there are pokemon scurrying around the real world. It's pretty dang neat, but there's some real humour and danger to be had from people walking around staring at their phones and ignoring their surroundings...

You just walk around and go places with your phone, and catch PokΓ©mon. And battle others and take over gyms. That's pretty much it.

Well played! Also, anvil-storms are no joke, try to stay inside if at all possible, with at least 10-12" of steel between you and the sky.
