Description
This is NOT the official Power Rangers Mystic Force line-up. This is my own version of it. Please read the following journal if you are not familiar with my "ReImagining the Power Rangers" concept : [link]DO NOT use without my explicit permission first.
Season 14 : Mystic Force 2006
Twenty years ago, a big battle ended thanks to a powerful magical warrior named Leanbow. He and his sister in law sacrificed themselves to seal the forces of Darkness in the underground, thus protecting both the Human and the Magical world. Shortly before the final battle, Leanbow's wife, Undonna asked Daggeron the Lux Knight to get her four daughters and only son to safety. He was stopped by the enemy and sealed in a cave for twenty years. It was Phineas, a Troblin who found the kids and brought them to the human world, not knowing who they were and thinking only to save them.

Today, the forces of evil are slowly coming out of the seal. Udonna the sorceress needs to find five legendary warriors to protect both worlds. According to the Xenotome, an ancient book of prophecies and good magic, these five warriors live in the human world. She decide to go search for them under the guise of and old man looking for his brother lost in the woods.
The first person to accept to help her is Nikky, a young 20 years old woman new in town. Quite quickly, Vee, his twin sister Maddie and their friends Chip and Sandra decide to accompany them because Nikky doesn't know the woods. When they meet with the real Udonna she enrol them as the Power Rangers Mystic Force.
Alexandra “Sandra” Bly, 23 years old, help manager of the Rock Porium (a local music store) is the Strong Element of Earth,the Minotaur, Green Mystic Ranger.

Charlotte “Chip” Thorn, 22 years old, local nerd and geek. She works at the Rock Porium to pay her huge Comic Books collection. She is the Galloping Lightning Element, the Garuda, Yellow Mystic Ranger.
Madison “Maddie” and Vidal “Vee” Rocca twin brother and sisters, 21 years old. They also work at the Rock Porium, Vee is a Disk Jockey, Maddie loves to make videos. Maddie is the Soothing Water Element, the Mermaid, Blue Mystic Ranger. Vee to his major dismay is the Wild Wind Element, the Fairy, Pink Mystic Ranger.
Finally Nicola “Nikky” Russell, 20 years old new in town, with a distinguishing scar across her face, she has just started working at the Rock Porium. She is the Powerful Fire Element, the Phœnix, Red Mystic Ranger.

Shortly after Morticon's defeat, Necrolai tricked the Ranger into releasing Imperious. But they also released Daggeron, Lux Knight, the Blinding Light Element from his prison at the same time, gaining a new ally against the new enemy.
Not long after the five Coloured Magicians received the Legendary powers, Daggeron received an upgrade of his own after defeating Imperious with honour in a bound combat. He became Solaris Knight, the Shining Sun Element. In the mean time, the shocking truth about Koragg's true identity was revealed. Thanks to Nicky's blanket, Udonna finally found out what had become of her five children and the five power rangers learned at last the true identity of their parents. And what a shocker. Nobody knew that the five young adults chosen by Udonna to be Earth Magical defence against the forces of the Underground were her own children. Nicky's ability to hear Koragg's thought came from the fact that she controlled the same element has her father did.

In the end, all the magicians banded together with humans and creatures of the forest and used their courage to vanquish dark magic once and for all.

Again : Have you read the TITLE of the image, have you read the DESCRIPTION of the image ? If you have, then you should think before you speak. If you haven't, you'll find your answers there.
And in case you still don't understand : I don't need to rewatch since all of these are a ReImagining. A new version, inspired by the official seasons and by the original Japanese series, mixed together with some of my ideas and preferences.
It is NOT meant to be an accurate depiction of Power Rangers Mystic Force (or any other season since I have done my own versions of each season up to R.P.M.).
It IS meant to be fun and entertaining, maybe even thought provoking at times.

Alright this is just silly...a male pink really you've gone to the point where you want a male pink...i noticed many female ranger fans always have some guy end up being pink. you know if this was a series...this would would get very low ratings for having the only guy in the core team being pink while the rest are women except for solaris knight...really just dang

I really hated Mystic Force, and although I loved Magiranger, I wanted some silliness in this season, don't know why. I just went crazy. not my favourite reimagining, but I'll stand by it and I won't retcon it.

Pink, being a shade or red, it's associated with blood, blood is associated with war and war with men.

It is a peeve of mine to see a man as the Pink Ranger. A position that has been given to women and also have zords that are among the smallest generally. Not to mention be on the feminine side. Though I have got to ask: Vidal (I shiver because that's a female name. Couldn't you go for Vince?), is he a heartbreaker?

About Vidal's name, I wanted to keep a name close to the original one in Mystic Force and it so happens that Vidal is registered as a boy name on at least one baby names site. And I don't see how it could be a female name since when it's not used as a given name it's most often used as a surname.
" The boy's name Vidal \v(i)-dal\ is pronounced vee-DAL. It is of Spanish and Latin origin, and the meaning of Vidal is "life-giving". Related to Vito. Several language groups (French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese) use Vidal as a surname or given name. "
Is he a heartbreaker ? Yes. He had no less than 10 different girlfriends during the run of the season.
About pink being associated with female and small : It's not my fault the japanese creator are full of clichés and stereotypes.

Nikky's scar is a nice touch. Don't think I've ever seen a scarfaced ranger before.
Out of curiosity, why do the main five all have black hair and brown eyes?

They're all the daughters and son of Leanbow and Udonna (except for Daggeron of course). Green Eyes and Red Hair are recessive characteristics. So they all look like their father. Simple as that. Same reason why they are all tan.

Sometimes I wonder if they could've pulled off the 5-sibling dynamic with the cast they had; just say Chip got the recessive ginger gene from Mom. I know it's not scientifically accurate, but this is Power Rangers, where we can breathe on the moon.

VIDAL: Why am I the pink ranger? Why can't we pick our own colors?
UDONNA: I've tried it before, it doesn't work. You've got five kids all fighting over who's gonna be the red ranger. They don't know each other so nobody wants to back down. No way, I pick. You're pink.
VIDAL: How about if I'm purple? That sounds good, I'll be the purple ranger.
UDONNA: You're not purple. Some other guy on some other team is the purple ranger, you're the PINK RANGER!
MADDIE: Who cares what color?
VIDAL: That's easy for you to say sis, you're blue, you're a cool color. Look, if it's no big deal to be pink, you wanna trade?
UDONNA: Nobody's trading with anybody. This is not a student council meeting. Now listen up, Pink Ranger, there's two ways you can go on this team, my way or the highway. Now what's it gonna be?
VIDAL: Jeez, 'Donna, forget about it. It's beneath me. I'm the pink ranger. Let's move on.

All I remember about Mystic Force is they call on their MAGIC powers with morphers that look like cell phones. That has got to go. It made sense for 'In Space', but it's not okay for magic powers IMO.

It's the same in the original series (Mahou Sentai Magiranger). In the original series the telephones are a link to Magitopia, the place where all magic comes from and each number is equal to a word of a magical spell. when they need a special power, they compose it's code and transfer the "call" to magitopia so they can receive the power. it's all magical and it's in the form of a telephone for convenience sake.
In Mystic force, they have magic wands at first, but Undonna quickly transform them into phones so they can go undetected in the normal world. There always a logical explanation.

I guess cell phone morphers are a big pet peeve of mine. Like I said, it makes perfect sense when the powers aren't magic-based, like on SPD and RPM, but seeing the Wild Force gang, especially Cole, literally CALL on their morph kinda turned me off on the idea.
