Description
Thought I'd share a photo of my current Red-Tailed Hawk, "Phoenix," sporting some new rufous-hued feathersΒ on his back/shoulders.Falconry is a highly regulated type of hunting. In the USA, falconers must complete a 2-year apprenticeship under a more experienced falconer, pass a written examination and inspection of facilities and equipment and other tasks in order to be properly licensed. Falconry birds are not pets; they are hunting partners.
