Keep in mind that:
A) I suck HARD at explanations, and
B) English is NOT my native language >>;
OKAY?! :3
So I finally found some spare time today [not really; I still have 90/120 pages of notes to copy to my notebooks. FO REALZ. The uni's killing me D:] and got around to finish this. Just out of pure boredom, and because I'm so sick of reading about the origins of Christianism AND medieval Spanish literature. I HATE YOU CID, I HATE YOU >.

I don't doll many mohawks anymore. It's easier to shade it with the doll facing forward since it's really just a cone-type of thing. I'm not good at explaining things without visual aid, sorry.

I was thinking the mohawk was pretty "eh" until the last frame when you added the extra strands. After seeing that, I like this method. <3

It helps quite a bit with the shaping however my chracter has a bit of a wider mohawk so this method doesn't fully work for me but it does indeed help.

Haha, I can't really draw mohawks either. They always come out wonky, but looking at reference picture really does help. I hope this helps, too!
