to be honest Im not the biggest "depp" fan XD (OMG I MUST BE EVIL!) hehe, I fell for depp in the musical movie "cry baby" arent I sad? but hes idolized by so many people I felt like doing it for fun ^_^

I don't think there's any room to criticise really - you did a superb job. Just one question though - I assumed the Deppmeister would be playing Willy Wonka in the remake film! It's not a comment on your art, I know - rather its description.

Whoa, that's amazing - you managed to get his eyes the same in all three faces, that's so cool! I'm in awe that you do all this in Paint. This is a definite fave!
I'd just like to point out, though, that Depp plays Willy Wonka, not Charlie. Sorry if I sound like an arse...

no, not at all, I have mixxed stories on this, alot of people tell me he plays "charlie" The boy willy wonka gave his company thing to, Depp plays "grown up charlie" and thats why the movie title is "charlie and the chocolate factory"

Mind you Im not sure about this o.O

according to IMDB Depp's character is Willy Wonka, and the original book was called Charlie and the Chocolate factory and it is the same story line as the original movie so I think they are just doing a remake of that...

its not a remake of willy wonka. tim burton isn't that dumb to remake a gene wilder movie. charlie is the take on the dark side of the book and how dark wonka's childhood was.

just a comment on the pic that you missed the kink in the middle of his nose

you see, theres an interesting lil problem with this ^_^

Im on a 17" LCD screen moniter thats natural brightness is brighter then most normal moniters or flat screen moniters. I couldnt find a happy medium on my screen when I went paler.

Instead I cheated and plucked the colors off one of the snap shots from the movie XD

I was hopeing to finish this BEFOR they gave me DD this was suposed to be the DD in my head but they picked Oded Fehr wich shocked me. I sat there going "well shit... I wanted DD but not with that!" lol

I guess since windows 3.1 My dad used to have an art program on DOS as well, Cant remember the title, I know it had pretty pixel tree clip art in it.

I started pixeling characters when I was 14, im 22 now.... so.... 8 years.. is that right?... I suck at math XD

Incredible. Great renditions of foxyman Depp. I really liked him in Edward Scissorhands and in Pirates, so I am seriously looking forward to seeing him in Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I heard from someone that he got his inspiration for Charlie and the Chocolate factory from Marilyn Manson, so that should be tre cool in the words of the french.
