Well, I'm a writer myself though I'm not posting anything in DA. I have read the Redwall series and enjoyed how Brian Jacques has captured every essence of combat and what would happen to anthromorphic type characters. One aspect, that if you wish to continue in this sci-fi version of Redwall is how Mr. Jacques captures the feasts the woodland creatures had. Everything from dandelion salad to their drinks. Those parts of the books really made me really hungry. I wish you good luck in your future endeavors. I am curious on a short excerpt of the possibility of underwater action.

Alas, I can't write to save my life. XD It's been a while since I've jotted down some of the recent ideas I have as sketches.... Maybe I should update soon. 
In any case, I've only using the Redwall novels rather loosely as foundational history and myth for the little world I'm developing. Redwall Abbey will eventually become the Republic of Redwall, a sanctuary for a world that suffered a major catastrophic event (the Star Fall) that created a global civil war in its wake.
