He was the best part of the movie, because he was the only engaging character. Did he have a thing for Shaw? I thought for sure they'd do something more with his "I-actually-have-feelings" issue. I wish we could get a backstory too, everything in the movie seemed only partially explained.

I just saw prometheus today, the movie wasn't much, it was good but not exactly the first of its kind, but good nonetheless.
I mainly watched it to see David. It made my heart ache at times with his little displays of emotions. Like when he smiled when Weyland called him closest thing he had to a son, and then when his smile vanished when Weyland said he have no feelings. All these little things...Michael Fassbender is truly a great actor and I just simply love David!

At the beginning of the film I wasn't certain if he was an android or not, but around the time Vickers woke up, it was fairly obvious his character's origin as well as role for the film.
