That's quite a nice thing to say! I'm not sure I'm worthy of a compliment like that, but thank you!

Lovely artist's comment [haiku{senryu}]. An excellent capture of a moment and a feeling in that moment.

I'm not sure if I can say anything that hasn't already been said, but this is absolutely gorgeous and utterly poetic. Thank you for uploading it.

Oops. I get a lot of people sending me stuff to look at based on my stock, so I get lost, sometimes.
I'm always honored and happy to inspire someone with my work, as long as they're not re-working my own efforts.

This is really good, but I'd like it a lot better if this person wasn't sticking there butt out so much. It is kinda pornish.
But the lighting is great and I like it otherwise.

i love this image for two reasons! the first being the use of light and shadow, the second being that the model ISN'T actually touching the blade!! i don't know if that was intentional or not, but it raised me respect of the image immensely! totally going to this one!
once again, beautiful work!

This strikes me as kind of Maplethorp-ish. I'm not sure how to spell his name but I love this shot. Excellent work.

That one was a toughie. I wanted to add the text to the shot but could not think of how to do it without having a high cheese factor. I've been writing that poem for years, now, and finally finished it last summer.

Haiku definitely lends itself to drawn out construction. And I think you made the right decision.

I offer up a poem, based on my reaction to this piece, which I shall also post on one of my websites, and hope you will assent to allow me, with linkback and attribution, use this photo on the site. But regardless...
--------------------------------------
barriers fall and all we are is the light,
burning through the veils, the sails that carry us
to where they bury us, far from home.
death is like a beautiful lady, waiting
in the next room, her skin satin and bright
as we reach for that we hope to receive,
sustained by hope and belief that she
will give us her heaven at least for a time,
for our patience and passions and faith.
