I thought Rule of Dumb was alright. Sure, it was mean-spirited but it had a really good moral. My least favorite of this season is All That Glitters.

Bummer Vacation-bad (an important step into Spongebobs flanderazation)
Squidbob Tentaclepants-good
New Leaf-meh (and manipulative to boot)
Squidtastic Voyage- mixed (would have been good if Patrick wasn't in it)
That's no Lady- meh
Hocus Pocus- bad
Drive To Tears/Rule of Dumb-bad (for Patrick` assholeness,its justified in both cases,but its still insufferable to watch)
Born To Be Wild-meh
Gift Of Gum-meh (nothing particularly bad about and it has some decent moments)

Finally someone who does think season four is awful. I have to admit I actually like some of these episodes.

I actually kind of like seasons 4, 5, 8, and 9. The only bad seasons to me are seasons 6 and 7.

Karate Island would get a meh.
The Thing would be kind of a meh too. I hated it a lot more the first time I saw it but i found it mostly mediocre the other few times I saw it.
SquidBob Tentaclepants IMO is a pretty underrated episode when it comes to Season 4. I understand why people feel uncomfortable with the ending but I guess I don't mind it that much.
Funny Pants would be bad.
And I think that would be it. Good work.

Karate Island I actually really liked from the fight scenes, to the character interactions, to the villain.
The Thing was just really mean to Squidward.
Squidbob Tentaclepants would have been good if it wasn't for the last five seconds.
I thought some parts of Funny Pants were pretty funny.
I still respect your opinion though.

krabs vs plankton is also very underrated

Those two were just pretty good to me. Ghost Host was creepy, but that was the point. So it did good. Krabs Vs Plankton was just a pretty funny episode.

I mean that the Flying Dutchman was trying to creep people out. That is why I consider this episdoe to be a good. Besides that it also had some pretty good jokes.
