Description
A dream inspired by a Jan. 2oo8 article about the abandoned towns and homesteads of North Dakota. Perhaps it's even a premonition of a post-apocalyptic future where the only forms of sentient life is of mutated or genetically engineered hybrids.
I used just brown, gray, and black pencil, pen and acrylic for the scenery and for the monster--orange and beige pigment tones.

Thanks, I had to look at several albino snake photos to get the most realistic texture.

Mostly the towns died due to the Depression and the dust storms of the 30's, and also the climate there is rather harsh to begin with.
