Still playing with the Chinese ink. I really do like the 'old school' grinding out ink, very satisfying somehow... I also love the very black ink it can make. Not well conveyed in the picture are some faint reddish hues in the ink as it washes (I hope these are correct terms).Still channeling 'happy trees' I guess?

I really like working with the Chinese ink. Grinding the ink is strangely satisfying and it is very forgiving. Try it if you can find it out there!
