Character Bio:
Originally the last and most powerful E-100 series robot built by Ivan Robotnik, designation E-123, he was one of the most deadly machines in the mad scientists arsenal, and as such was one his way of becoming one of his generals. However after a terrible lightning storm hits Mobius, E-123 was struck by lightning during a fight with Sonic the Hedgehog, which in turn damaged him badly and reset his programming, wiping his memory clean and leaving it a blank slate. Abandoned by his fellow robots, E-123 wandered aimlessly through the forests outside of the city empty, lost, and curious of his new environment like a child learning of his world. Eventually he was found, but not by any robot, but rather a small child, Cream the Rabbit, obviously she was scared of him at first but once she saw that he meant her no harm, she soon befriended the metal giant, giving him his new name of Omega and decided to keep him a secret from the other Freedom Fighters. Slowly, Omega began to learn, through Cream's attempted teachings, how to speak, about right and wrong, life and death and some elements of nature, specifically the miracle of things that grow in the woods. Unfortunately their friendship suffered a heavy blow once another Freedom Fighter discovered Omega and drove him off, forcing him to run away and get recaptured by Robotnik's machines. After getting rebooted once again, Omega returned to his original state of blind obedience. However having followed the robot all the way back to the city Cream risked everything, disregarding the order of her elder Freedom Fighters, and attempted to bring Omega back to the friend she came to know, when she finally found him again it appeared as though he was going to used his weapons on the young rabbit to end her life but once she was within range, a series of images began to flash in Omega's cybernetic mind, images that were once part of his memory before his second reboot. Finally recognizing his friend, Omega decided there and then to abandon his original programming and turned his guns onto Robotnik's forces, vowing revenge on his creator and all the other machines he built for the suffering he had caused and almost forcing him to kill his friend. After the two escaped, and upon learning of what had happened from Sonic, who had witnessed the whole thing, the other Freedom Fighters welcomed Omega into their ranks.
