Description
Anyone remember Archie's "Sonic The Hedgehog #146"? This issue is pretty important, at least in developing Nicole more as a character. Up until this point, Nicole was a typical AI sidekick to the squirrel princess known as "Sally". In this issue, the two are body-swapped and Sally ends up trapped in her own pocket computer! Meanwhile, Nicole is infatuated with being flesh-and-blood and ends up running off. By the next issue, the two are returned to their own bodies and everything goes back to normal... Mostly. You see, Nicole eventually creates her own body using hard-light holograms, due to the event of this issue. So yes, not only is it a body-swap used to develop a character, but it's also completely canon! Heck, Nicole even survived the "Super Genesis Wave" that killed off 90% of the characters in the franchise! Though she died a few years later regardless. :C Regardless, this issue was always one of my favorite Nicole moments and it was fun seeing Sally stuck without her royal princess body for a bit. Here's hoping the new run of Sonic does something cool like this someday.

Of course, if they wanted to bring her back all they'd have to do is find a backup, because being anΒ AI is awesome like that.

Yeah, that's true. Though I don't think she was that easy to bring back, due to how advanced she was.

Oh yes, definitely. Sadly, this doesn't get used a lot in fiction.

Yep, fat walrus gotta steal a skinny bod to boost 'dat confidence. It would have to be another mad-scientist, one who is skinny, preferably one with a flexible body, and one who is accomplished as a scientist as he is. Where would he find a body like that, though?

First time a lot of people have seen this, since it's a pretty obscure issue.
