Hello, I was wondering about how you made the horns because I noticed the back had something blue or is it from the cardboard?

Jep, it's just simple cardboard... I had a no money and used old boxes for ice cones

I think it's just the cardboard, if you look carefully at the blue you can see white printing.

it looks like you glazed them over with something in the last picture, is it just paint or something? .o.

MonkeyNumber5 In reply to FlameStreak3 [2013-09-26 11:41:25 +0000 UTC]
Just paint! I used different layers of paint in different colors to make them appear more natural. But you can use some clear varnish to make them shiny!

Yeah! It would probably work for her horns! You can even use some clay to make them smooth without the heaviness

Would this work for small stubby horns? I wanted to do a karkat Vantas cosplay and just didn't know if it would work.

Jep, it works! Just don't bow them and you'll have straight horns. I actually made a pair of straight horns but am to lazy to make a good picture and upload it Sorry!
But I will upload them soon!

Indeed, just hot glue. It hides the edges of the cardboard
