652x450 for that exact image! but normally my pixels are 150x150, I just used a larger image as an example to show more details

yep! A lot of people don't realize how good Mspaint can be :> artists like Oniongrump and Pokekoks  use MSpaint as well, it's definitely a good pixel program!
and you can do pixel art without a tablet! I use mouse and mousepad for most of my pixels c: though it is easier for smaller pixels, just place them a few at a time.

it definitely can be! just takes getting used to it c: the simplicity works out rather well for pixels, through most pass it off. 
though this tutorial is so outdated, I really ought to make a new one!! O:

Made with MS paint of course. Well I started around Friday evening and finished this one about 9 hours ago.

I was supposed to put a background but I couldn't do what I imagined :/

But I can't put this to dA yet cause I need to figure out a Bio and Story for the lower character :/

ahh yea, backgrounds are super tough to get right, especially with pixel stuff!

go to "view" on the top of the menu bar, then there should be an option that says "thumbnail" and as long as you're zoomed in more than 100% it should show a thumbnail! though I don't know if it's available in older MSpaints
