Description Please note that:
- It's not a drawing tutorial, therefore I don't explain how to draw face hair and ect, it's for people who sketch and ink manually and would like to try doing it with a computer.
- It's not for mouse drawing, tablet only, otherwise it's too much of a pain.
- It's not quiet a tutorial..I just though that some tips might be useful if you don't know how to start with CGing something.
- That's the fisrt time I was doing outlines on my computer and not on paper, so don't be too hard with it...

Anyway. I think being able to do the whole of your drawing of the computer might be extreamly useful and interesting, (especially when your scanner is down - like mine) so I wanted to give it a try myself...and when I was done I thought that it didn't turn out that bad and I'd like to share my way of doing it with you
hopy you find it useful or inspiring at some point^__^

Medium used: photoshop CS and a Trust 400-V2 A5 tablet.
Time taken: one evening + one day. I'm slow
Claimer: the character and artwork belong to the Spectre XD

Great tutorial! Very helpful, this is what I already do, I was hoping there was a less painful way of making clean lines without using the pen tool, but your right I suppose it is worth the time.

wow nice one, will try it that way too.
i hate sketching with my tablet, since my hand is quite shaky and if i get to produce a nice line it`s most likely off proportion and doesn`t fit, but since my scanner went to heaven i`ll have to put up with this till i can afford a new one, so this walkthrough might help.

thanks, gonna fav

Merci beaucoup !

XD man o.O if I had a tablet, I can do the fine line and detials as you did XD! ^^ That tutorial you can do it in old openCanvas (XD if I had a tablet, it'll work XD), openCanvas is like photoshop also XD, except 1 things (few tools, and layers XD), X3 I loved openCanvas XD! It'll do the same if I adjust it the brush . You can drag the 1st arrow (the top of the 2nd arrow) and drag to left side, then make the brush a bit big by dragging the 2nd arrow, then you hook the tablet, then it'll give the fine detials XD! (If you already had openCanvas, i'm sorry XD)
