I'm on Christmas break! Which means I had time to work on this! Huzzah!

XD Anyway, I started this about two weeks ago, but didn't get around to finishing it until this morning.

I know, I know. This page doesn't have much in terms of information. I wanted this to just kind of be an introductory page to the very basics of dragon anatomy. I have a few more pages that I'll be posting within the next month-ish, so keep your eyes open for that

So to summarize what this page is saying; if you look at all the dragons here on DA, you'll notice that most DO look a lot like mammals in terms of body shape. They all stand upright instead of sprawled out on the ground like reptiles. But, as Kaito said, this is fantasy, so you don't necessarily have to follow the rules if you so wish. However, if you want your dragon to look like it could be an existing creature, you're going to want to go by the same general shape that most land-creatures on earth have. Whether you base it off a mammal, bird, reptile, or fish, as long as you follow the basic anatomical structure, your dragon should look believeable.

That's about it! Next page is all about the head. How you could have the shape of the face and the jaw correspond to your dragon's personality, and a few examples of different head decorations; horns, feathers, ears, frills, etc. So stay tuned for the next page
