Or possibly how not to do it, I am not sure…It’s a stupid mental image that took me faar longer to doodle than expected. But it is done.
I am not trying truly to paint any house worse than any other, but the attributes most valued by Godric never made sense in the context of education.
Then again I never understood why Hufflepuffs always had the lowest points. They get the job done. They work for it shouldn’t they then learn more readily..? never mind.

"Things would have been different if they hadn't rejected my application as Head of Smith House. Apparently they felt that 'practical magic that actually gets things done smoothly' wasn't what they were looking for. What's wrong with a House with black and white colors, the spider as the House symbol, and practicality and pragmatism as House traits? So I founded my own school, Smith's School of Witchcraft, Wizardry, and actual education. 0 fatalities in its entire existence, highest grades in the area, and we also teach math and the rest of the useful in everyday situation skills Hogwarts doesn't teach.
