Description
Or possibly how not to do it, I am not sure…It’s a stupid mental image that took me faar longer to doodle than expected. But it is done.
I am not trying truly to paint any house worse than any other, but the attributes most valued by Godric never made sense in the context of education.
Then again I never understood why Hufflepuffs always had the lowest points. They get the job done. They work for it shouldn’t they then learn more readily..? never mind.
"(...)Thus Hogwarts school begain."

Maybe the Gryffindor traits don't necessarily have to make sense in the context of education, per se. But the era in which Hogwarts was founded was a more combative one.
But yeah, the Hufflepuffs get shafted. "Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get caught in jet engines!"
I'd be either a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff, anyway.

No clearly he had something else in mind when Godric chose traits.
i don't know the meaning of the quote. is it an English or American saying?

Drunk decisions are always the best decisions!
Yeah, it is. Basically, it means that those who have lofty goals also run greater risks. So, the Ravenclaws are up there in the clouds, doing awesome stuff ... but also getting sucked into jet engines (a la Syndrome in the Incredibles), while the Hufflepuffs don't aim as high, but they're also nice and safe in their little burrows.

Ah, sounds very clever. I wonder if we have any such saying. .. "the one who screams for a lot often loses the entire piece" its like if one would call and yell for lots of food theyd not get it at all. but it in ryme in Swedish. I think that'sthe cclosest we have. ..

I'm a Slytherin on Pottermore, though every other quiz tells me I'm a Hufflepuff (and my dear friend somehow thinks I'd be a Gryffindor). I cracked up when I saw it, but I have since embraced it!

Does this mean that the scarf of sexuality came from Slytherin?
I'm a Ravenclaw but it's nice to see something that praises the traits of the Hufflepuff house. They are hard workers, they're perfect for school. So interesting how Gryffindor always seems to win the House Cup though. Must be the Potter-rule.

Hah! I love drunk Mr Gryffindor.
I was sorted into Slytherin by an online test, but I'm really not sure why. Sure, I'm sneaky and not the greatest person ever, but I'm not ambitious enough. And I'm way too procrastinaty for Hufflepuff.

I always wondered why Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff seemed to be mostly background noise. Would it have been so hard to have more supporting characters from the other houses? It might have been interesting to have more of that dynamic but, oh well. It is what it is.

Someone once did this crossover with Hetalia and Harry Potter, and had Germany end up in Hufflepuff.
Their reasoning was that, frankly, Germany was a hard-working guy, and that, if pushed, Hufflepuffs would probably try to take over the world like he did.
I don't remember their exact reasoning, because I can't remember what the story was called and it may not be online anymore.
