Description [edit 06-June-25 I haven't gotten back to this chart yet to make some needed adjustments. It may be a while... let me know if anything seems unclear. Original description follows:]

I put this together kind of quickly so there may be some errors. It's a chart of all the flame and transform components that may be found in flames generated by various Apo versions.
It was a quickie which I'll try to tidy up and check for accuracy. In fact, I already see two mistakes. Both versions of 2.09 on the chart support opacity values in between 0 and 1. Older versions support only "visibility" which I mislabeled "plotmode" on the next line. So those 3 entries that say "static" should actually be "no" since the term opacity is not present in those versions.
Opacity emerged from "visibility" which, in scripts and parameters, is called "plotmode". That's why I used the wrong term.
[Edit: oops, I messed up a couple of other things, like chaos instead of "Xaos", the term which Apo presents to the user. I also forgot to include "Direct Color", but that's pretty easy 'cause it's only available in 7X versions. One more thing is that the chart doesn't contain any elements that are in every Apo version from the start. Those would be items like color and symmetry for transforms, and Gamma and Brightness for Flames. I've only listed elements which have been changed or added to Apo since v2.02.]

I basically did this so I could see at a glance what flame components were accessible from scripts in various Apo versions. That's not what's shown here.
But I thought this chart might help people figure out why their flames might not look the same in different versions of Apo.

So I'll be cleaning the chart up presently, but it would help me if anyone could point out any errors I may have missed.
Oh yeah.. I forgot to list plugins too. That feature first appeared in 2.06 versions of Apo and is found in all Apo versions since then, except the Electric Sheep 2.07 version (which is the only ES version).

When the downloadable image is shrunk about 75% the whole image fits horizontally on a 1920 pixel width screen. I think it's still readable for most people at that smaller size.

For what it's worth, and for anyone who's interested, I also hunted down a Google Doc spreadsheet I did 4 - 5 years ago that lists the *native* (not plugin) variations for each Apo version starting with 2.02 and continuing up to 3D Hack. It's here: [link]
