i've downloaded your script and had a quick look at it in notepad. the syntax looks straight forward enough. how much of this type of work is done in a text editor, if any, compared to the apophysis app?

I edit scripts in a program called "ConTEXT" and I set the highlighting function to "ObjectPascal".

For Apophysis you would need Delphi Development software of some type usually what I've seen called an Integrated Development Environment or IDE.
