This guy is looking pretty badass. Rumoured for a few days before confirmation, we randomly have some sort of Mewtwo related Pokemon. Figured he deserved to be drawn haha.For those of you who have no idea what's going on, this is him:

According to the actual website, this guy is meant to have a connection to Mewtwo; it doesn't say that it is actually a transformation or anything like a lot of people will be suspecting. What do you think?
Strangely no mention of Mew at all.
Will probably add some text later on when we have more details about him to fill some space, let me know if you've heard anything official.
So many questions!! Haha October can't come fast enough.

If they can conjure up a canon explanation for him, I'm game. And let's face it, after accepting that the collision of two equal psychic forces could turn a 10 year old boy into stone, and that the mourning, florescent tears of Pokemon can act as a remedy, any explanation might suffice, here.

Generation 1 wasn't that great either... It may be ruining it for you, but for younger kids it is introducing Mewtwo in a way they can connect... Pokemon isnt failing, your just changing interests... Go do "adult" things

Pokemon use to be simple in their design, now they are making them look βcomplexβ and itβs just making them look ugly. EVERTONE is trying to connect to their new fans, but they canβt see that they are crushing their old fans hearts, like Disney and Star Wars. BTW Iβm 16

Not all of the designs were complex... Some like solosis and munna were simple... The designs were simple only becuase of the lack of technology at that time... But I am 16 and thought that all pf the new pokemon amazing... I guess maybe becuase I am looking at it at a childs point of view and not a stuck-up nostaligic one... I do agree companies like Disney is starting to sway from orginalities... But then they released movies like Tangled, Princess and the Frog, and Wreck it Ralph which brought it back. pokemon to me is the only company which is NOT failing and is doing a good job... Quality of designs is more opinionated and cannotbe measured... But whether they sell can and they still sold a lot of copies of the later games and that is Not including emulators. I like to be optimistic and pokemo Hasn't failed us yet... Black and White had a beautiful story thatnothing else could teach me... Complexity and change isnt a bad thing... It just sounds bad since people are not used to it. But like I said before... I think the problem is that you are losing your young interests and moving on to "adult"... But for those who still have young imaginations andhearts Pokemon is still fun and is doing just fine... i would consider reading the stories and thoug behind the pokemon,they show the importance of each pokemon to the pokemon world...

... I see your point, I liked Black/White, and the whole "Mewthree" IS possable and a good idea, I just HATE the idea of "a new Mewtwo form" (I think they should be difrent). I could live with the(anoing looking) Silveon and im all for new eeveeloutions, but when you mess-with/change the Pokemon who's title is "The most powerful pokemon" even to connect with the new fans (or connect the old and new fans) its going to far and it bugs me. I grew-up with Pokemon, Zelda, and Star Wars, these three things you do NOT mess with (I have on beff with the Zelda games) so if snmeone gets smoething wrong, Im the first one to stand up and tell them they are wrong...anyway I'll be fine as long as ^this^ Pokemon is Mewthree and not "a new Mewtwo form".

WOW.... I wrote this a LONG time ago.... Its funny how much I've changed since
then. Mega Mewtwo Y has really grown on me. I don't really care if people are
"genwunners", it just means that they grew up in a different time... I will
admit gen 1 had some of the coolest PokΓ©mon EVER, and gen 5 had some of the
lamest, but gen 6 really picked up the slack. PokΓ©mon Y is one of my favorite
PokΓ©mon games, and of one of the most challenging (gen 2 was the most... it's still
confusing... and the demonic Miltank!). I REALLY can't wait for Alpha
Sapphire, I hope they have new mega evolutions!

I think he might be a relative to Mewtwo, or perhaps one from an alternate world or time period. Just like what someone else commented, I also think he looks like a cross between Arceus and Mew. This is a great drawing by the way!

Mewtwo, this form, and Genesect are going to be in the new movie. The title is Extreme Speed Genosect: Mewtwo's Awakening. Whenever I hear awakening in a title of an anime, manga, or video game; it means someone or something is going to be revealed or someone is getting a power boost. Mewtwo was released in 1st gen and if it was revealing Mewthree wouldn't the title say Mewthree's Awakening.

I doubt it's a new form or evolution of Mewtwo, fusion of Mew and Mewtwo is a possibility but I highly doubt it. I think the best option is another experiment maybe made from Mewtwo's DNA instead of Mew... though that's a bit impossible. Anyway I'm voting experiment.
