I never really pictured Arawn or Herne helmed...the armor looks like that from a later era than the myths of the lord of the Wild Hunt, but the picture is still beautiful!

Yeah, I've always been a folklore geek. But, I think I read a lot of the older ones myself. I learned to read very early.
I was really glad to see your pic, because a lot of folklore characters are not used enough.

Nice! Gwynn ap Nudd has got to be one of my favourite parts of Celtic Mythology.

Ooh, that's gotta be a Celtic story ... um, that one with the hounds inadvertantly killing the deer of Arawn (?) the King of the Underworld ... or something. Gad, my memory sucks.
