Description
A Lady finds a quiet moment in an overgrown abbey with a flock of unicorns.(Edit: I was so excited about posting this that I forgot to include the specs. 13x17" ish Prismacolor painting (colored pencils and markers) with a very small amount of watercolor.)
So, a while back uploaded this [link] fabulous stock photo, and I had to jump on it. Well, that combined a bit with the face from [link]
She's waited entirely too long to see this finished. I hope she likes it,

Beautiful work. I admire people who can work with traditional media and get such brilliant results. THe lady's face's so gentle, and I do love the unicorns.

You can thank the model for that. I did make her expression a bit sweeter, but the basic facial structure she gave me to work with really worked well for this piece.

Lovely work. I especially like the knotwork and the masonry in this picture. Those (imho) cat-like tails for the unicorns are a unique touch, very interesting

Don't be sorry!...your unicorns remind me so much of my do....he's a Moroccan greyhound....but i am so glad he hasn't got a big spike on his head!!!!.....Still..nice work Ms. Parker.

Yeah, I'd been wanting to do something with some less horse-like unicorns, and that pic with the greyhound just totally triggered the image of medieval-style unicorns. I think they look quite interesting.
