My first painting of the new year! A morning scene of a young lady and a water dragon having a nice breakfast tea.

Painted in Manga Studio 5. I'm really loving this software and this piece really put me through my paces getting familiar with what it can do.
The model for the lady and her dress is the beautiful and fabulous Elandria and I highly recommend her stock gallery as a valuable source of inspiration.

Edited 1-23-14 to make some color tweaks

Thanks! It's felt so good to be getting back into art, and I really feel I made some progress with this one in lighting, speed, and just being comfortable with what I was doing. Making corrections where needed, but not over thinking it.
