This is going to be a rockin' series, Michelle!
I love the choice of colors and the design of the dress. I think the patterns work very well together, and help to harmonize the upper and lower elements of the dress ensemble.
Milan better watch out!

The WIP shot almost made me say "GAH! Too bright!" However, you seem to have resolved the issue nicely with the dark, somber background. The range of greens you used looks superb now. Such a lovely vice... Must check out the others!

It wouldn't be too hard to make at all, if it weren't for all that blasted beading, and the difficulty of a nicely transitioned dye job for the skirt.

I don't have a clue how to do the dye part, but the beading would be NO problem for me!!! LOL! Check out my scraps section for some updated pics I recently posted of all the hand beading I've been doing on my elizabethan court gowns I'm working on!!! And I'm not done beading yet! LOL!

I was just thinking the same thing! Though a green fabric in that color that looks good is going to be a pain to find.
