Watercolor, colored pencil, inks and pastels painting, 11x17" hot-press Arches watercolor paper.I wanted this painting to get across the feeling of standing on the beach in the winter doing what I tell my roommates is called "watching the horses come in from the sea" which is watching the whitecaps break. What I unintentionally ended up with is possibly the best representation of the goddess Epona I could have done.

The other lovely in the pic is supposed to be a Welsh Cob, if anyone is interested.

Lovely! You have consentrated on the girl and the horse. The bakground is not overdone and it makes the pic more harmonic. It alsoe makes it eysy to lok at and see the nice details you have managde to make! (Bad spelling as usually)

Beautiful! I'm very fond of Epona (I had a char who had gone by that name for a long time), and the idea of the whitecaps being white horses is one I've always loved. The girl's dress is lovely, as are her and the horse's hair.

LOL, that's ok! I've been moving too, but you can still send it too that other address. That's my mom's house and I still stop there often, so I'll get it no problem. I'm still in the process of getting my mail rerouted to my new place, so probably safer to send it to the old address for now! Yeah, moving does stink! LOL!

My mom wants one real bad, especially since I'm no longer living at home. So I thought about maybe getting her a copy for mother's day!

Yep! Finally functional again, despite a suspicious water-spot on the ceiling yesterday *eeek*. It's all OK now! And I've got three pieces that I'm seriously working on right now! Yay! I'm getting back into the swing of things again.
