So, this piece has been busting my butt for a while. I've gone through I don't know how many studies, thumbnails, redraws, what-have yous.

I've finally nailed down a composition I'm happy with and am kind of flatting in my base colors before I start playing with overall lighting and color scheme. Which is more preparation than I normally do, so here's hoping it helps me work the painting efficiently and not get lost in a lot of back-and-forth.
