I saw where this was going from the second panel. "She looks famili- Oh." I like semi-memes. Although, honestly, I guess it wasn't a "meme" until I drew it again. It was a poorly drawn comic on /co/ for a while until someone redrew it to not look so horrible. It used to have a beautiful meaning. We sure showed them. That will teach them to love.
It's eerie seeing your pencil drawings. I expected them to not be so similar to your vector drawings. Your lines don't carry a lot of depth on their own, which is why I think your vector drawings come out looking flat/2-dimensional. Try using more line variations, as opposed to straight lines and shapes (especially those triangles.) I'm curious as to what it will look like. Do it! *shakes fist*

Honestly, I do have pencil and charcoal work that demonstrates a more classic artistic flair, but thats not really what this gallery is about, but what the hell, might submit some to scraps later.

Shading wih an inkpen tends to be clunky and unsatisfying unless you REEEEALLY know what you're doing.

GAH! How the hell did that happen? The 'glass stepping on' I mean. Although once when I worked on a crystal pendant, it broke in half....and I had a rather large piece of it stuck in my palm....it didn't hurt...until I pulled it out that is
