You must be a psyker because "animatronics filled with semi-dead people are Servitors" is exactly what I was thinking.
Seriously, I've been thinking about making a Dark Heresy campaign based on Freddy's.

I've been trying to sketch them up as takes on the chaos gods, but I think you're on to something. Like they could be humorous takes on xenos or something.
'Jerry Genestealer's Pizza' or even an old admech temple where the servitors seem to be deactivated and players can only tell if they're moving or not with sufficient perception. Oh man, and you could have a note pad that only you can see where you cross of units of power remmaining depending on their actions and they don't know what drains more!
"Just activate the sentry guns, incase they ARE moving"
*BLACKOUT*

The idea I've got is tied into the Calixian Sector, specifically the npc entry for "Dreaming Dead of Hive Gloriana":
The Inquisition has a number of secret bases in the monster-infested Hive-world of Solomon. One of those bases, in Hive Gloriana, has gone silent and the Acolytes are sent in to investigate.
What they discover is that agents of the Ordo Malleus managed to successfully capture the spirit that's been possessing servitors and murdering underhivers. Essentially they chained up a bunch of servitors in the underhive and brought back to base the one that started making a knife and eyes began glowing. These operatives held a victory celebration, partied too hard, and the servitor got loose.ย
Gameplay-wise it's the same as your concept, except there's streamers, party hats, and "mission accomplished" banners. Also, the players should be told not to kill the servitor because that will allow the spirit to escape again. I was thinking the players can earn bonus xp if they leave the security-generator room and find where the servitor dumped the bodies.

At first if its you don't check often enough, THEN its if you check to often. It's tricky.

Don't shut both doors at once unless you got no choice, i guess?
Fun fact: Freddie's laugh is a little girl slowed down.

Lacks any long term appeal, and the gameplay is incredibly basic but I think they did a lot of good with very little actual animation. I am a sucker for good sown design, also.

I feel the game itself lacks long term appeal, but the characters, such as they are, and the mood all sit with you for a good while. Plus it's definitely 5 bucks worth of fun.
