Top left: Normal Chicken skull, Top right: Hypothetical Chicken skull with cyclopia

Middle left: Normal Lamb skull, Middle right: Lamb skull with cyclopia

Bottom left: Normal Human baby skull, Bottom right: Human baby skull with cyclopia

Far left: Chicken Chick with cyclopia.

You can see how Lamb and Human baby skull are more similar to each other than to the bird skull. All skulls hae many similarities, as they are homologuos stuctures.

Holoprosencephaly and cyclopia can occur in all vertebrates, as all vertebrates usually have forebrain division, which can be disrupted. It will elad to an absence or fusion of midline strucures, be they muscles or bones.

I drew this to guess how cyclopia in birds would look like. I tried to infer form lamb skulls, how birds skull of birds with cyclopia would look like. Birds with cyclopia can not hatch alone because they lack an upper beatk whith the egg tooth. And the brain defect is lethal.
