Description This is a little scene I'm particularly proud of from the page i posted for my comic 6-Commando  this week.  Something about the lines, the colors, the whole thing just came together for me and I really liked how it all looked.  It was odd, trying to make a green sky work (there's a reason for it, in the story) but I think I did okay.

By the way, the barrel slogan is not intended as a swipe at anyone - it's just a bit of tongue-in-cheek in-universe humor.  After all, the comic is a Cold War-Gone-Hot scenario, so it stands to reason.

I agree with that should be a bumper sticker for the M1A1

0.70 cal.

Most of the infantry they face wears powered armor, and the "light vehicles" in the 6-Commando world would make a real-world Marine sweat.  High firepower is a necessity.

Because the UNA uses imperial units, not metric. So the closest they come is a .70cal.

I take it that their fighter jets don't even have M61 vulcan guns?

They have twin HIVELOC antitank cannons and an array of air-to-ground missiles.

Ah. Well, they're ground attack planes. They rely on escort and interceptors for that. The Supermarine Starfire, if you're from Canada or the Commonwealth, for example. Or the F-17 Super Tomcat, if you're from the United States or Mexico.
