Description
To get things out of the way, I modeled this ship before the 4th of September, right before all of the Force Awaken toys were revealed. Thus, I had very very minimal references to base on when modeling the First Order Star Destroyer. As such, this ship is WILDLY INNACCURATE. I just wanted to say this first before many of the rabid fans reveal their inner dark side and lash out against me.

Anyway, a week or 2 before all the toys were revealed, I modeled the First Order Star Destroyer for the Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds mod Expanding Fronts . After some discussions, we felt that it wasn't time to put any TFA content into the mod at the time, which was understandable.

When I first saw the new Star Destroyer design in the trailer, I knew that I had to somehow replicate it. And so I did, but with very few references. At the time, I only had around 1-2 images of the new Star Destroyer, and unfortunately they were at pretty bad angles, so it was tough for me to get the shape and dimensions, not to mention the little details, correct. When the toys came along, I realized how inaccurate my model was, but I did my best when I had almost no references. At the moment I have no plans to make a more-accurate FO SD as the mod doesn't require it.
