At the beginning of this month, the team at Expanding Fronts, a mod for Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, have unveiled the newest expansion, bringing a plethora of changes including the addition of the Zann Consortium!Over 1.5 years in the making ever since I joined the team, the Zann Consortium is the 9th civ in the game, boasting new units and buildings. Using Sketchup, I helped to model most of the buildings, taking cues from the Zann buildings present in Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. I also helped to model many Zann units to fill up their roster. Every building in the gray boxes are the ones I modeled, ranging from airbases to troop centers to shield generators to the mighty Monument with the Zann insignia proudly displayed.
Project lead Gen_Rhys_Dallows helped to model some buildings along with texturing all of them. He also incorporated the models into the game, so all of this work couldn't have been done without him.
