You should read Clayface's first appearance in the comics along with Mudpack. Really great Basil Karlo stories.

I love how you used the theater mask. It reflects his acting origin in the animated series.

Thank you!  Yeah, I love the animated series' interpretation of Clayface--definitely my favorite version of him! I pretty much based all of these portraits on the animated characters!

It's really beautiful and the concept is wonderful. I like the one you've posted in the series (probably found your account tahnks to it. if I remeber correctly), but honestly, in my opnion this one is even better.

Sweet!  Thank you! I liked this one a lot, too, but it somehow didn't feel as "Clayface" to me.  I don't remember my reasoning behind it, but the original concept for this series was for all of them to be dressed up in classy ballroom-type clothing.  Eventually I abandoned that idea to draw them in their more familiar outifts.  I think it was straying too far from the Animated Series, and I really wanted to stay faithful to those designs. But it's fun to post the original versions!  This might be the last of the originals--I'll have to take another look!
