This is an old one from a few years ago when I did my "Sega vs Capcom" series for Sega Addicts: sega-addicts.com/2012/09/11/se… The idea was to draw Sega characters in Capcom's style, as if they were in a vs fighting game. If only, right?
Anyway, Metal Sonic's probably my favorite Sonic character, so I had to make sure he looked kinda stylish. You can see a group shot here, with fake pixelation! Sega vs Capcom

I totally agree! They've made Sonic seem less cool over the years with his goofy storylines, but Metal Sonic is always awesome.

Yeah, that's true, unfortunately. Sonic in general is kind of in decline... they really hit the mark with Sonic Generations, then kinda went back to their old dumb stuff. Not sure why it's so hard for Sega to consistently get Sonic right!

I hope they do something with him soon, aside from the cartoon and related games. I feel like he's already a thing of the past.

Yeah, eventually, once they can't figure out how to keep making money off of him. The final insult would be if they ended up folding and selling Sonic to Nintendo, and then they actually make a better Sonic game than Sega! I hope that day never comes.
