It is a wonderful image by a very famous photographer that was for sale in paris. I couldn't afford it so I took a photo of it.

Pretty expensive for a poster but the pose is fantastic. She is presumably resting but still ready to take off dancing in a second.

I had the same problem when I was there. So many things I'd like to have but the prices were putting me off.

23 euros, it's quite expensive for an american tourist I guess because of the money change (I think 1 euro = 1,4 dollars...)...

Uh... I'm sorry, I might lack sense of poetry, but, I don't know why...it reminds me of what they call in France "Turkish toilet"
I'd like to be able to read what is written under the picture...

I read something recently in "Infinite Jest" that said something like 'all atheletes at rest have a toilette posture'... I thought about it and it's true.

Thanks. If it hadn't been pricey, I'd have bought that image.

there is something strange here... except the cool 23 euros' punchline of course... and it is the way she put her legs while resting.. I mean - there is disconnection between her up body gesture (sadness or thoughtful or whatever) and the legs (which are at stretch position)... dancers are really odd "people", never stop working...
I like it very much, as well as your title

Thanks a whole lot. Yes, dancers are really atheletes and must work so hard. She does seem to be almost ready to go again.

Yes yes! And after some study, one of my favorite photographers. It's strange I didn't know about him before! Amazingly interesting work photographically and otherwise.

yes, he was a master and during the World war 2 he made a great work creating interesting pictures against nazism and a lot of experimental works too.

I loved the experimental... and if you put it up here, folks would swear he'd used PS to do it.
