in all my travels out west i have never noticed the outsiders motel. what a name? come on, that is a pretty creepy name... like it is as creepy as the perspective you gave this shot... no doubt some very questionable behaviour has gone on in the rooms of this motel... how could it not.

Isn't this the weirdest name yet for a motel. It was right next to a gas station we stopped at. I keep wondering where it was now. Someplace I'd never stopped before so I think it was not on the usual freeway routes. Coming from and going to Boise, we took two lane roads so I'm thinking that is where it was located.
I loved it that the cowboy looked a bit gleeful!

yes it is about the weirdest...i mean someone opening the Bates Motel might not be as weird...
strange things have always happened out on the open road.

It was (is) along route 80 I think or else ... hmmmm maybe Nevada. Now I can't remember. The motel itself was closed.

Awesome shot. Really brought back memories of when I was a child. They made neat motels back then. Huge horses rearing into the sky was a big fav of mine. Sometimes we saw all sorts of animals and a mirad of odd things. Neat memories.
