I thought I was trying to figure out how does his painterly images, but after I saw the image I'd chosen and what I'd done with it, I realized that it was about a dear friend who just had a very serious automobile accident. Tomorrow I'll be driving to see her. Makes me think that this probably happens more than I even know. Not art as therapy though... for I dislike that idea.Related content

Strange, isn't it. I'm the same way. And my husband is that way with music....One of my sons is a writer and musician...same thing... another makes movies...same thing.... and my daughter must be involved with theatre...it is the same. Balance, perhaps...

Yes, that is who did it but I got some recording by a friend of a friend and that's how I think of it... 
Just got back from seeing Sue in the hospital and she's doing a bit better but not out of the woods yet. Her car went under a semi...yikes!! She laid down on the seat just before impact and that is what saved her. Amazing. She can barely talk but is off the ventilator and I think she will do fine now.. thanks for the nice wishes.

you made me smile...oh yes...I sometimes think us artists are definitely NOT 'normal'..
There are times I've wished I could just live a life with an ordinary job, live in an ordinary house, watch sit coms at night before I go to bed, get up on sunday, have breakfast and go to church...and not think about the things I think about. sigh.. But I don't really want that... I want my crazy life.
