I like the pattern of the cloud that responded to the scenery...is this in California?

No, it is within sighting distance of the Rockies and though I can't recall which side, seems like the terrain is more like coming from the west.

A gorgeous scene. It almost makes me want to be there and in a canoe. Mate one small issue with the shot that I find distracting is the small dirt spots (in the water in particular). I'm not sure if you have Photoshop CS2 (not sure if it's in the first CS) but the spot healing brush tool is perfect for stuff like that. It's so much quicker than using a clone brush.

I didn't see it or I would have fixed it. I am having some trouble with the ccd??? on my digital camera. Whe it gets dirty there are spots... I think that is what it's called. I have to get some special soemthing the clean it. sigh. Meanwhile I'll go in and handle the spot on the water.

Treiziste In reply to myrnajacobs [2005-05-12 05:43:33 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I have spots on mine as well. Whatever you do though, don't clean the sensor inside the camera yourself. I've heard a number of horror stories about the sensors being ruined by anything from gentle rubbing to those air spray cans to blow the dust away. Have it cleaned by a professional. But first check that it isn't just dust in the lens. If it's only minor, consider just continuing to photoshop it out.

I've heard that too. My son cleaned his with some special thing he got at the camera store.. but he's a bit of an IT sort of guy.
I'll see who I can find arond here. The spots are getting worse. I now miss some of them. I clean the lenses often.

Someone else asked me that and I think, since I can see the Rocky Mountains in the distance that it is Western Colorado. Coming from the east, doesn't look like that.
At any rate, it's within sighting distance of the Rockies!

It is in Western Colorado.. I think. I drive back and forth so much to LA that I lose track of which direction. But you can see the Rockies in the distance... sooooo.
