We walk alone, we die alone! Funny how our almost from birth we are searching for friendship, companionship, and love
and yet we die alone!

It is so true. I watched my father die... my brother and I were there but, he was really alone. You don't take anyone with you.

Wow, we do go somewhere, my dad was in hospice for a week. I came in to his room with my brother, touched my dad on his leg, I said, "OK dad we are here." He jumped like he was startled, looked at me with fear in his eyes, never said a word and went back to what ever he was working through.
I am going to tell you something crazy!
A couple of years ago my dad and I went to the mountains on a daytrip to go fishing. I was driving on our way back and there was a dust devil crossing the road. My dad told me to slow down. I said, "No I'm going to drive through it." He insisted that I slow down. I said, "Na, we used to walk through these things in Texas. I drove through it! Our hats blew off. I wooped it up! He said, Son you're an ass!
Fast forward to a year, exactly to the day, and almost to the hour after his death. I am sitting by one of those Southern California lakes that the developers build, so that they can build houses around them. I have eaten lunch there almost every day for the past seven years. It was a calm warm January day. All of the sudden the leaves in the trees start blowing really hard. I'm looking around and thinking what the hell. My truck starts shaking a little and over the top of my truck, a dust devil forms. Moves about fifteen feet to the front and right of my truck and sits there, between two trees, for about fourty seconds whipping up grass and leaves. I'm thinking to myself, OK when are you going to move.
At that time it moved out over the water and disappated. Then all of the sudden I chuckled, I knew what it was all about. Had not seen a dust devil there before, our since that day!

Yet it is the adult and child that catch my eye.

There was something about each 'object' in the frame. I do recall planning for where the main was but not sure about the adult and child..or the bird.
