THE MUSCLES ON THE WINGS!!! Just last night I was wondering over them, and then I find them here! ^_^ This is getting faved and you're getting a D-watch out of this, I hope you know!
And nice section on feet, although I feel that you could have gone a little more in depth. I'm having trouble with feet when they come in contact with the ground, and otherwise I'm fine. But this should help a little, thankyou.

Absolutely superb tutorial. It was entertaining to read and kept my attention and peaked my interest in drawing dragons. I'm a big fan of anything draconic and it was refreshing to read a light-hearted tutorial that also explained the concepts behind the different body parts (muscluature and bone structure). Thanks!

Wow, this is a pretty nifty tutorial! You don't see too many tutorials on animals anyway, let alone any on "non-cuddly" animals. Have you ever seen a person trying to teach how to draw a snake?

You have a beautiful technique to drawing dragons. I used to doodle their heads all the time while I was in high school--you've inspired me to start again. Thank you.

i c only 1 spellling mistake:you put JET instead of YET. LAWL.
ah! more dragon llovers !!! yay!
oh, the sizze of wings on a dragon dont realyl matter, they cna be quite big and have medium wings that look liek they cant fly with. ...actually, they would fly really welll with those though it looks funny, a substance in theyre stomach[[CroW forgets what its called D:]] makes them lighter-than-air, or so to say. btu if theyre FIRE BREATHERES, they must use fire a bit to keep aloft, with fire, they work like HOT AIR BALOONS. so if they use too much, theyll be too light and drift away, too much and they wont fly, the fire connects to that unknown substance in theyre stomach.
but yeah, i liek BIG wings on dragons! make them look COOLEr and you can puts lotsa detail and pattern inta dem and theyre easyer to work with
[ PS: many spelling mistakes! try to make them out as BEST as you can!]]]
other than that i just learned a thign or two on dragon just a few min ago that was a awsoem tut!
[[dont take that long para as CRIT, just info, k?]]]

Wow, you really put a lot of effort into this. I adore your skills and I think I'll try to draw a dragon as you described.
I love dragons quite a lot. <3 Your thoughts about anatomy are very intersting and in my point of view they make a picture more realistic.
And don't worry about your Englisch, it's fine I'm coming from Germany and I know that it's not always easy to express aspects rightly.

Yiphee! I've found someone with my mindset on dragon anatomy! I too will watch dino docs - there was even a program that looked at dragons as though they were real! The explaination for the six limbs - a genetic mutation in the part dictating the number of legs.
*switches off geek mode* This is so informative. I'm particulary pleased by the detail you gave to the wings - the main bones I can do fine but the skin, that's another thing entirely. I've saved this to my mac for future reference, I find other people's processes to be wonderful learning tools.

Random thought: If the wings evolved from hands that got skin between their fingers, dragons must have had six legs to begin with... that must have looked funny
And well, very nice and enjoyable tutorial!

Nice job on the muscles too, if dragons were real they would be the only 6 limbed reptiles, so thank you for knowing your anatomy
