This is really helpful! But I have a question, how exactly do you do your scales on your dragons? I'm doing an art project on dragons for my art exam and I have nearly everything down except the scales. Could you help me please?

Great work! Helped me a lot!
just telling you, the filters are standing in a different(alphabetic) so , for the ones who're using an English version, got to filter->blur->motion blur and tada!

This is AWESOME! Thank you so much for this! I only have a few questions about the shading, if it's okay. Which brush(es) are you using and are you just adding a darker/lighter shade of green or using the burn/dodge-tool as well? :3

I hope you get to read this, but I have a few questions.
1. in your tips you said not include wing with sea dragons. However, I experimented with a wyren dragon (only two legs and one set of wings) design into a sea dragon. I theorize that wings could evolve into flipper-like use much like a webbed foot. Now that I think about I could have done it another with it by making it so the wyren was a like sea bird that uses it wings to swim after diving into the water. But oh well. Actually, to get to the point I was worry if this hold true. Here my attempt [link] Please bear with me, I starting out and trying to perfect my art.
2. As you suggest for front view (where the dragon looking at you) that for the muzzle using the same technique you use for like wolf or something else with a sizable muzzle?
Thank you. This tutorial was great and the tips were wonderful.

I get what yoou meann about style copying, that's why it's so hard to find a good dragon tutorial, none really match your own style. I'm just kinda selecting this one cause some of it looks like my style, just for help with proprtions, really.
and about wings- I have a swimming dragon with them, but they're little and he uses them like fins. i haven't scanned in any pictures of him yet, cause I don't have a good one yet, just sketches, but he's part western and part easter so i figured I'd give him little wings from the western side. Just wanted to remind you to keep an open mind in that regard.
