It may not be the most high tech and detailed of games, but it certainly is fun
All colors used are taken from the game itself via screen shot and eye dropper tool.
Thoughts: Think some white clouds floating across the back would make it more interesting? Or is the static image more easy on the eyes and desired?
Don't decide to hate it before trying it; seems everyone is skeptical at first but quickly won over

LOL One point of appeal that it has, is the consistent updates. I feel like it's Christmas all over again, every time dinnerbone, Grum and Jeb push out a new snapshot. More so, that they do listen to the community, even if sometimes the community suggestions do take a little bit of extra time to add. But when they finally do add those features, I feel all the more reason to put my trust in them, to continue to make a great game

2) They recently did a lot of work on the entire system and overhauled it. Have you re-downloaded the file from here: minecraft.gamepedia.com/Versio⦠(the .exe file in the far right column, first row)
3) Is your graphics card capable of handling the rendering?

I play the 1.5.2 version cuz it was free and....

:/ Minecraft was never free, except for the current demo version and near the very beginning, Classic was used as a way to try out the utmost basic version without monsters, day cycles, and if I remember right, animals.
Some people illegally exploited the game, and spread the word around so that others could also play without paying. Mojang has made a lot of changes, so the exploit is not possible anymore. Although I am sure that someone will figure out some other way again one day.
Even if it just pennies picked up from the ground, or a few dollars for a birthday or Christmas, I recommend saving up for the game.Β After you've bought the game, every update is free, and you can try out the latest snapshots. It really is worth the money. There are very few games out there, where you can pay once and get the updates free for life. I'd say the value is higher than that of any game disk/cartridge
