Progress is slow but steady. My art professor looked this over and gave me a few critques and I'll be making those adjustments. Overall though she liked the composition and turns out that she is also a bellydancer!Related content

I think it looks really good, except that the paper is all crinkly. If you want a professional look, you can get a portfolio to carry your artwork in at an art store for pretty cheap, or you can even make one. It will protect your art and keep it from getting all bent up. : ) Otherwise, I love it.

I originally started this piece in June 2005 and didn't have a portfolio then and my 3 year old got ahold of it!
I got smart and my works in progress are better protected and done on better quality paper.

it is a gorgeus picture.the shading is indeed really nice ,though i ll agree that the hand needs a bit more work, it looks really thin like that.but beyond that its really beautiful,the eyes and the red flower are exceptional.
just had another look at the eyes.they are striking.they remind me that kind of graygreen or gray blue eyes that look at you and leave you breathless with their stare, so deep, so powerful, as if there is a universe hidden in them...
finish it, you ll do as a great favor to be able to look at this finished.

I saw the one on tribe too, this pose is really challenging which is why its taking me so long to finish it. I've just about got it done though and should be posting the final one soon!
