This is so weird! I just started to play around with the thought of making my own plushie and how to do it, and *poof* I get a tutorial! I will certainly try this

Thank you so much!
This is brilliant! I'd never even considered doing that way! It' looks like a real timesaver with much less trial and error (and unpicking!) than the way I've been doing it.

welcome,
it really is very easier than trial and error, especially for complex shapes

This is a great patterning method, especially for complicated three-dimensional shapes like plush toys. Thank you for sharing this tutorial!
Congrats on the DD!

I used this method to create a pair of foot paws once, but it never even crossed my mind that it would work for plushies too! How awesome! Thanks so much for creating this tutorial ♥

Very cool. I've always thought making a plushie would be fun, but I never liked any patterns in books or things. Maybe now I could make a plushie of my horse.... Now there's a thought. And if my horse turns out well, maybe I'll try my mom's horse (who is a Paint and thus spotted)... Thanks for making this!

Wow, thank you so much for sharing this!
I've wanted to try make my own for many years now, and still think i'll get around to it some day, but I had no idea how to make my own patterns. This was very easy to understand and looked both fun and easy!
Now I think making patterns might be easier than the sewing, lol!

did you make anything with this mold? I'd like to see the end result of this giraffe-necked bunny.

It is quite ingenious! Thank you for sharing your method of how to make patterns; I will probably try this out for myself, since you made this seem so easy!
Also, congrats for receiving a Daily Deviation!
