It's finally here! Part four! We've come a long way, but there's still 3 parts remaining! Once again a big thank you to and Mallac for providing input and advice on this leg of the journey! Most of all though, I have to thank whose superb dramatic readings of my comics is the primary motivating force to finish this project.
This is also the first part of this comic that was entirely rendered in Manga Studio 5 EX.
Anyway, on to the next part! We're nearing the homestretch now!

Is that really fair? Applejack never came across as if she blamed Rarity at any point within the comic. It was more self-blame and in a situation where there is no obvious target for blame she blamed herself. Personally I'd blame whoever's job it was to ensure the bridge was safe and that bridge didn't look as if it was on the farm's property therefore I'd point to gross negatilegnce as the cause of a horrible accident.

i want to both hate you and love you for this comic. i mean that part of me feels like it wants to punch you and the other part just hug you.
no matter how many times i read this or watch the vid i am SOBBING at the end. i am curios about when this will continue but you have amazing art here. the colors and lines are simple but effective as hell. i am seriously waiting for the next part and please tell me it wont make me sob myself into a coma

Man, the amount of emotion in these images.....I honestly can't believe it. I'm not crying, but I can say for sure if this was the route they went with in the series, it would probably been one of the most reviewed episodes and be one of the most powerful, showing how friendship and family can help you even in the darkest of times.
Granted the whole thing with Rarity is the one part that bugs me a little given we've never seen that kind of connection between them in their interactions but that's nitpicking.
Anyway, I say kudos to your comic, it's emotionally powerful and sucks the reader in from start to finish. Aces in my book.

I'd like to say two things to you:
Firstly, damn you, damn you so very much! How can you make something so sad? I cry every time I read this story.
But secondly, also thank you, thank you very much. I envy your talent at making such a dramatic and catching story. The art is great and I especially love the way you tell the entire story about the parents' death without any text (except Rarity apologizing). These are some of the reasons why I come back for this story over and over. I've also checked out all your other comics and art, and there is no doubt that we can expect a lot more from you. You've earned many favourites and waiting patiently for your next upload.
PS: You almost made me forget that I'm watching a show made mostly for little girls.
