This... I can't even begin with this comic. It was very heartfelt and brought a tear to my eye. The final panel was especially strong. I read Part I, and found it to be an interesting spin on the "Apple family orphan" fanon. As I had read many fics and seen many comics that deal with the issue, none have ever much gone into, or sometimes even acknowledge at all , poor Applebloom's feelings. In addition, the artwork is beautifully done, but still reflects the air of depression. This was quite a gem and I look forward to seeing more of this comic. Keep up the good work!

Honestly, i saw this on youtube with the vioces and sound effects and after the third part i was all like 'holy shit, that was an emtional rollar coster for me!' And all I could think about was this song:

That song always jumps into my mind when I read things like that. There's a fic on FiMFiction titled "I Just Want You Back" that pretty much embodies that song.

Awww, Apple Bloom's crying for her mama. The poor baby filly, she looks so sad. Makes me want to pick up Apple Bloom from her cradle and comfort her in my arms.

Though I certainly don't consider myself NEARLY skilled enough of an artist to give this a proper artistic critique, I will say that this is very, very touching. I'm no orphan - I was born and raised in a loving family and I couldn't imagine having that taken away. But a familial issue liek this runs really deep and the raw emotion in this is so heartfelt its just.... *presses fist to chest*
This is gorgeous on many levels.
I couldn't approve more.

She forces herself to not think about it, to not care, to not let her emotions get the better of her. Some real-live people are very good at hiding their true emotions; they don a pretty convincing mask.

Actually, I'm making rapid progress on part 3. I pretty much finished inking the character lineart last night. If all goes well I might have the next part out in a week. The next part is pretty heavy though... but things will lighten up eventually.
