It's finally here! Part four! We've come a long way, but there's still 3 parts remaining! Once again a big thank you to and Mallac for providing input and advice on this leg of the journey! Most of all though, I have to thank whose superb dramatic readings of my comics is the primary motivating force to finish this project.
This is also the first part of this comic that was entirely rendered in Manga Studio 5 EX.
Anyway, on to the next part! We're nearing the homestretch now!

Your goal was to shock us? If that's right, you succeeded your blow !! I not stop crying behind my screen !! The story is really well built, emotions come out right away, it's so sad !!! Should I rest 2 seconds.
It's good, it's going better. So I said that emotions are so strong that the ressents immediately. The drawings are beautiful, the replicas are placed end to us, and you end with a teardrop. But what is unfortunate is that will be even better to finish with a reconciliation between Rarity and Applejack. Otherwise, I love this comic, maybe it makes me cry, but she's great anyway. I really like to draw as well.

This is cute but really sad too so tears cried out of my eyes ,whenever I read this I need to be near to a Kleenex box. Good job I always wanted to know the story about Applejack's parents so Thank You!!! I really love when Granny Smith gives the hat to Applejack is very touching , I just love it ! You really paint very well I appreciate all your work is cute ! All the paintings like : Loyalty, But I really tried this time ,and Loyalty part 2 everything is so touching!!! I'm no stranger to stories about dead parents and struggles with terrible losses, but this one still hits me where I live. I've yet to cry at any book or movie, but this one, especially when I listen to the audio recording, brings me perilously close to the edge. (Thanks to your friend, I now have two new additions in my music collection.)
I like how you adhere to one of the biggest rules of storytelling: show, don't tell. While telling is necessary at times, most times it's better to let the action, dialogue and facial expressions do the "telling." I like how it all flows naturally and nothing feels forced or hokey. The art is lovely, with great nods to the original TV series while retaining a unique style.
Take your time with the next installment, but try to not keep us waiting TOO long if it can be helped in any way. I'll definitely keep an eye out.

By God......BY GOD! This series will rip out your feelings and walk all over them. But in a good way. The creative genius of this series is something that I will always think of as the holy trail of of feels touching comics. Or for anything in that matter. Now I am not very good in finding a flaw in something that I love to read. If I say something is good it's good. If I say something is bad it's bad. I will say that the art work is a little rough but the is beside the point.
Let me say that the Core Of The Apple characters, will always, ALWAYS,be in my heart.

This was a great story. Very emotional and goes far in depth into Applejack and Apple Bloom's relationship as both a sister and surrogate mother. While some canon is different and may confuse people who are unfamiliar with the show, it brings a general understanding of how these two sisters and Applejack dramatic shift in personality.
The comic style art creates a graphic novel atmosphere that helps the reader have a better visual interpretation of the inner conflict that the characters go through as they face life without some ponies they love and cared about.
Others have had different interpretations of Applejack's parents fate, but yours was more emotionally catching than others.

I thought it was amazing.. it truely made me cry... Im sure there are many who relate to this story... like me... but like in every story there is a lesson to be learned and this lesson truly helps... i hope you are able to make a part 5, ive read this 10 times already and each time i cry. alot of fans are wondering where Apple jacks parents are.. i bet this would make others love apple jake even more, but i also think rarity shouldnt of been the cause of their death because i dont recall them knowing each other at that time, then again i may be wrong... all and all i loved this story and i hope to see more.

Hey, I'm not really good for critic the design but I'm sure about one thing I follow this story for a while now, waiting for the next each time I go on your page, and I have to say you've done a pretty good job. Unlike certain fiction the change of mood is of the characters are justified, the drama is good I really love all the ideas about Aj's parents (I think that's because it's the only really kind of development of the character we had so far), and it could totally fit with the show, not as canon because it would be too sad for a kid show, but in backstory that fit perfectly.
Still I don't know why Rarity should be the cause of the death. It gives a reason for Aj's parents, but their relation in the show are not bad. I mean they are not ok with some little things but they get a long fine. So I hope there'll be more development for that part.
And about the design, the characters are almost the same as the show with a personal that I like, the expressions on the characters' face are really good I really them sad, the effects of rain and the dark environement, I found that a bit too much dark to have her alone standing under the rain in front of her parents' grave (But I love it ! Yeah I'm sadistic with my favorite character).
And seriously I think That's a good work.
