Description
A map of the United States, from my ComCom timeline, a year before the USA's dissolution and admittance to the Confederated Nations Alliance, a large confederated state-of-nations (similar to our own EU, but actually democratic and not just a front for dictatorialismCanada to the north at the time is an actual Kingdom, ruled by King George VII (Prince Charles of our world's Windsors, at an age of ), and to the south is the nation of Aztlan, a union of the Mexican rump-states and some of the central american nations, founded after their conquest by Allied forces in the Second Arctic War.
I may well be following this up with a map of other nations at the time, and succesor states such as the CNA and The Third Empire, before I get back to my planned maps of the other planets.
Oh, the keen eyed of you may note that I've changed some of the state's names, represented as such by their initials

Well, I could disagree about EU being a front for dictatorialism... but let's not get into politics. XD (Though you might want to check out my map of Europe. In it, Europe is heading pretty much in that direction).
Though I like the idea of the Caribbean islands and northern Mexico being part of the US, too bad I can't make out the abbreviations of the northern Mexican states (or southernmost American, in this case). And what happened to Hawaii? Or are they independent?
Like it though. ^^

Oh, and Hawaii was conquered by the Chinese during the Second Arctic War.

Well the EU certainly isn't democratic - the EU foreign minister is British, and has never been elected to anything - she's a member of our House of Lords
The Mexican/Caribbean states are as follows;
PR - Puerto Rico
HA - Haiti
CU - Cuba
RG - Rio Grande
ZA - Zacatecas
ND - North Durango
SD - South Durango
SO - Sonora

Tell me, are the living standars in these American Mexican parts more like in today's Mexico or more like in today's USA? Or are they even better/worse? ^^

They're close to our US of today (this timeline's USA never develops universal healthcare, however), which places it slightly below the average standards of the US of this timeline's 2040's. Before the conquest of Mexico in 2011, the country had suffered many years of Communist mismanagement, with Mexico having been one of the more corrupt and unworkable communist nations, despite advice and urging from Russia and Britain over the years...

Cool, I like it. But one thing; a few of the states' abbreviations are wrong. For instance Kansas is KS, not KA. And Missouri is MO.
Otherwise good job, I like it.

Thanks I know, but at the time I couldn't be bothered with finding them all out, especially so since some states have changed names anyway - the Dakotas are now the Lakotas, Tennessee is Franklin, etc...
Thinking about it, I may go change a few to their real abbreviations, seeing as I just noticed that I got Vermont and New Hampshire the wrong way around >_< lol...

Yeah but if thy dissolved, there's nothing to admit. Unless each state was admitted individually?

Ahh, sorry... when the USA was dissolved, the territories comprising it were redrawn and redivided, formed into nation-states built around similar economies and cultures, which were then all admitted to the CNA I'm not sure exactly what those nation-states will be yet, I'll probably make a map showing them at some point...
